Hello! I am Kath, and I have been designing and building user interfaces for the past 9 years.
Where I am
Currently based in Manila, Philippines. I am working remotely as a designer and front-end / UI developer for Easy Signs, a printing company based in Australia.
Where I've been
Previously, I was a front-end engineer at Canva, an Australian startup that empowers anyone to design. I’ve also worked as a designer/developer at an agency, Thousand Minds, and Star Cruises, a company offering cruise vacations to Asian destinations.
Where I want to go
Crafting well-thought-out interfaces is my thing. From landing pages to websites and apps, I enjoy the process of solving a problem through design. My coding skills also help me become a better designer as I get to understand the technical stuff and learn to communicate effectively with engineers.
Working with a team passionate about technology bringing a positive impact on people's lives is a good place I want to be.
Something personal:
I love going on trips whether solo or with family and friends. There's something enriching about travelling, and the experience is never the same even if you visit the same place. Photography is also another hobby I enjoy.
